Wire-line Logging Engineer
- Minimum of 2 years experience working for a geophysical
logging, seismic, perforating, or drilling company. Experience
with electrical circuits and repair, use of radioactive
sources and down hole video logging equipment desired.
Should possess active certifications or be eligible for
certifications in the following fields:
- Radiation
Safety Training
- OSHA
- 40 hours training
- MSHA
- Part 48 New miner training
Applicant
must be proficient with personnel computers utilizing DOS
and Windows based operating systems, and have experience in
log printing or plotting software (Wellcad and/or Logshell).
This position requires excellent communications, customer
service and organizational skills. The ability to work independently,
and analyze and make repairs to equipment in the field is
essential. Some sales work will be required. Applicant must
be willing to travel and work out of town 10-15 days a month,
and relocate if necessary.
Competitive compensation is based on experience, with base
salary, monthly production bonus and per diem expenses.
